Fipple - the unmistakable beginner instrument from Mollenhauer!
Available in four imaginative colors. Each model features a fun character head. The friendly soprano recorder with a colored plastic head in berry and a body made of European maple wood.
Here comes: Teredello, nicknamed Tere
The child-friendly and high-quality material combination is the proven recipe for a great start in music. Durable, reliable, and pleasant-sounding, it offers a good response across the entire range with a curved windway and balanced tuning. The elegant contour of the recorder’s beak and the flowing design of the instrument immediately connect to baroque models.
The wooden body with hand-finished, oiled surface provides a comfortable feel and a beautiful tone. The plastic head simplifies hygienic care by rinsing with lukewarm water and drying outside the case.
Baroque Fingering with Double Holes
The standard among the most widespread beginner instruments: baroque fingering and double holes for the notes c/c# and d/d#. Double holes drilled side by side make it easier to play the corresponding semitones accurately, which come into play later in the learning process.
Motivating to Learn
Each Fipple model is linked to a character figure that children can identify with. The berry-colored Teredello thinks things through carefully and has lots of imagination and empathy. He especially loves the deep dreamy tones.
The colorful world of Fipples sparks imagination and encourages willingness to learn. In addition to the instrument, motivating educational materials are offered:
- The adventurous Fipple story for reading aloud or by yourself
- The fun Fipple song – small musical exercises for a playful start
- The Fipple game – a DIY craft for exciting playtime
