Excellent Lechgold F-Tuba for (Aspiring) Master's Students!
Lechgold places the highest value not only on reliability and traditional craftsmanship, but also on giving musicians the best possible foundation from the start for untroubled enjoyment of their brass instrument and success in their studies.
The FT-25/6 Magister II is built entirely from brass, with slides made of nickel silver. The bell diameter measures 380 mm, and the conical bore measures 19.5 - 21.5 mm.
6 Valves, 3 Triggers - All Hands Busy!
The Lechgold FT-25/6 Magister II features 6 valves (4 + 2), with the 5th and 6th valves arranged as auxiliary valves.
The tuning compensation of the 1st valve slide is "on pull" — when the trigger is engaged (left thumb) the valve slide is shortened. The tuning compensation of the 2nd and 4th valve slides is "on push" — when the respective trigger is engaged (2nd valve: left trigger, 4th valve: left thumb) the valve slide is lengthened.
The valve mechanism is equipped with original Minibal joints, ensuring perfect and reliable valve action.
Tone Quality
By using top-quality materials, Lechgold produces an outstanding tonal character across all registers. Easy response and impeccable intonation provide the basis for genuine playing pleasure.
Tradition, Innovation & Passion
