Tuba
The tuba is made of brass, the bell from premium gold brass, and the slides from nickel silver. The bell diameter measures 400 mm, and the conical bore ranges from 19.6 to 21.2 mm.
Furthermore, the tuba features an extended semitone on the 5th valve and an extended whole tone on the 6th valve (to compensate intonation for fingering combinations in the low register). The mechanism is equipped with Minibal joints, ensuring perfect and reliable valve action.
