Classic Cantabile T-170 3/4 Junior Bb Tuba

The 3/4 Junior Bb Tuba T-170 from Classic Cantabile, thanks to its compact dimensions and light weight, is an excellent instrument for beginners and students. But there's more to this tuba than meets the eye. The T-170 can be converted into a marching tuba in no time and easily shouldered. So whether you're an ambitious beginner or already an advanced band musician... one thing is certain: With this bass you'll definitely make people sit up and take notice and draw all eyes to you!

Perfect for Children and Teens

The Classic Cantabile T-170 Junior is only 80 cm high and weighs just a little over 6 kg. That makes it a true lightweight that even younger (and not yet "fully grown") tubists can easily lift and play. But this tuba doesn't just cut a fine figure in instrumental education...

A Real Ear and Eye-Catcher as a Marching Tuba

With just a few moves (and the supplied conversion kit) you can convert it into a marching tuba, making it perfect for your next gig with a guggen band as well as in a show or marching band. And no doubt you'll also draw all eyes to you at the next stand concert or community choir and during the parade at the district or county music festival.

With the forward-facing bell at shoulder height the sounds of your tuba no longer drift somewhere above the orchestra but instead reach your audience precisely.

Tone Quality and Sound Character

Thanks to the use and processing of top-quality raw materials, Classic Cantabile instruments offer audible tone quality and a pleasant tonal character across all registers. With these attributes Classic Cantabile ranks at the top of its price range.

Always Safe and Comfortable on the Move

Each Classic Cantabile tuba is delivered in a robust hard-shell case with zipper and double carry straps with hook-and-loop fasteners. The reinforced and adjustable backpack harness is included and can be easily clipped in when needed.

Underneath the case there are durable hard-rubber wheels that allow comfortable and fast transport of your instrument on (almost) any route. Sheet music (folder), accessories and tools have their place in the generous exterior pocket of the case. That way instrument and equipment are easy to transport and always well protected on the way to rehearsal or the performance.
