Silver-Plated Jazz Trumpet From The Yamaha Xeno Series!
The dreams of musicians and designers have been realized in the Yamaha Xeno trumpets. Xeno trumpets were developed for players who want a powerful, warm tone with excellent projection.
Reversed-Type Main Tuning Slide
This Xeno model stands out for its easy response, comfortable playability, harmonically rich tone and low resistance — qualities that only a "reversed type" design can deliver.
Explanation: Normally the main tuning slide is pushed into the cylindrical tube that connects to the leadpipe. On the Yamaha YTR-8335RGS the main tuning slide is slipped over it — "reversed", in other words flipped the other way around. This structural difference also improves the airflow (and thus performance).
"Heavy" Construction For A Stable Sound
The "heavy" construction produces a powerful tone that never breaks even at the highest volumes. The feel remains open and comfortable, and thanks to the ideal resistance Xeno trumpets offer fast, responsive attack and maximum tonal flexibility. The hand-hammered one-piece bell guarantees quick, flexible response and a beautifully rich sound.
After more than 30 years of development work with some of the world’s top trumpeters, Xeno trumpets fulfill their requirements and reflect their experience and talent. Skilled technicians who are recognized worldwide realize these designs. The combination of traditional craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology has achieved the highest quality.

Could try it out in a music store, it was love at first sight / sound.
Since I play very quietly, it took a while until I found the right one.
With the Yamaha I get both very soft and very powerful and loud sounds out.
I can recommend this wonderful instrument to everyone.
