Reversed Type Main Slide

This model stands out especially for its light and precise response, something only a "reversed type" model can deliver. Explanation: Normally, the main slide is inserted into the cylindrical tube connected to the leadpipe. On the Yamaha YTR-8335RGS, the main slide fits over it – "reversed," that is, the other way around. This structural difference also improves airflow.

Projection and Flexibility

The characteristics are achieved through a combination of factors: The two-piece gold brass bell with soldered bell rim gives the instrument its strong core and enormous projection. The plastic valve guides provide a more flexible tone, while the lightweight finger buttons ensure quick response.

Outstanding Playability

The reverse leadpipe type Y01 made of gold brass and the new one-piece valve casing ensure excellent response and an exceptionally good playing feel.
