Stradivarius 190M-37XU - One of Bach's Most Versatile Trumpets!
The Bach Stradivarius 190M-37XU is one of the most versatile instruments in the company's long history. Orchestral trumpeters value the tonal beauty and agility that stem from the new M+ bore (Medium Plus, 0.456\" / 11.58 mm). Professional trumpeters find in the 190M-37XU a compact, focused tone and a high register where screams cut through perfectly.
The lightweight nickel-silver inner slides ensure the tone doesn't break even at extreme dynamics, while the French bead rim guarantees unmatched projection. The design also incorporates iconic features from the golden Bach era: a Mount-Vernon-style bell and nickel-silver Z-braces in the New York style.
The Bach development team examined the most famous trumpets from Bach's long history to determine the optimal weight, construction, material and assembly of the valve casing. The result is a redesigned valve casing that enables faster response and a livelier sound.
French Bead Rim for More Control
With the French bead construction, a semi-round wire is soldered into the bell rim instead of a "normal" round wire. Because of its slightly higher mass, the notes lock in more securely. You also keep better control of the tone when you play with more air and power—the note doesn't break out as quickly.
