For the 190-43 ML the most iconic features from the best Bach vintages were combined, including Mount-Vernon-style bell construction, NY-style nickel silver Z-braces, and a modern, consistently precise leadpipe. That gives the Bach 19043 series the most even tone, the quickest response, and the most focused sound at every dynamic level.

The 19043 with ML bore (11.66 mm) is built on a two-piece valve casing, nickel silver outer slides and brass valve guides. The #43 bell (one-piece, hand-hammered, with lateral solder seam) has been paired with the #26 leadpipe — in the original Vincent Bach design.

In Bach's notes it states that this leadpipe is a perfect match for the #43 bell. It gives the player efficiency and quick response, accentuates the bell's inherent brilliance, and allows access to extreme dynamic ranges and a full palette of tonal colors. The clear lacquer adds a subtle warmth to the overall sound.
