B&S introduces its "Personality" line—a completely new generation of Bb trumpets, each developed from the ground up in close collaboration with pioneering trumpeters. Martin Hutter's signature trumpet Personality PMH is available in clear lacquer, silver-plated, or vintage finish.

True to the motto of his composition "Blow Music Into The World!", Martin Hutter has become one of the most sought-after trumpeters beyond genre boundaries.

After several visits and extensive discussions at the B&S Brass Atelier, the ideas for his signature instrument were born and refined. These were realized according to Martin Hutter's specifications. The PMH impresses with extreme precision, incredible focus, and reliability—for balanced playing and extended endurance.

Complete New Development, Including Case & Accessories

All this was achieved through the use of completely newly developed components, from the leadpipe to the bell. The B&S Personality PMH features a new two-part valve casing with especially lightweight Monel valves for even greater agility, plus redesigned valve felts—for improved, more comfortable, and relaxed playing.

The B&S Personality PMH is delivered including mouthpiece, valve oil, slide grease, and cleaning cloth, naturally housed in a high-quality B&S double soft case with adjustable backpack straps.

About Martin Hutter

Born in 1986, Martin Hutter comes from Wangen im Allgäu and began his musical training at age 9 at JMS Wangen with Thomas Herz. He received classical trumpet training and won multiple national awards at "Jugend musiziert."

Martin was a member and lead trumpeter of the Bavarian State Youth Jazz Orchestra, a member of the "European Masterclass" Big Band under Peter Herbolzheimer (lead), and studied jazz trumpet in Cologne with Prof. Andi Haderer.

Since 2008, he has been trumpeter and flugelhorn player with "Ernst Hutter & Die Egerländer Musikanten - The Original," since 2009 founding member of the band "Moop Mama," and since 2014 flugelhorn player and trumpeter with "Die kleine Egerländer Besetzung - The Original." Martin Hutter has performed with ensembles and artists including SWR Big Band, St. Petersburg Chamber Philharmonic, WDR Big Band, Peter Herbolzheimer, Till Brönner, Ack van Rooyen, Benny Golson.

Since 2019, he has worked with his parents and brothers in the "family business" Hutter Music as label and marketing manager, where he can also unleash his creativity.
