The clear-lacquered Melton MW-129L bass trumpet is made of brass, with a gold brass leadpipe and nickel silver inner and outer slides. It impresses with excellent workmanship, optimal handling, and features high-quality mini ball joints and an elegantly engraved bell.

3B Joint System

Unlike conventional valve action joint designs, the innovative 3B joint system uses two bronze-mounted steel balls per valve to ensure ideal force transmission to the valve—one at the valve action base and one at the end of the slide to the wing.

3B stands for "Bronze Ball Bearing." To fully leverage the advantages of this high-quality ball/bearing combination, a spring at the valve action base ensures smooth operation and a soft pressure feel similar to string valve mechanics.
