Bass Trumpet CTR 590 From Bohemian Craftsmanship!

The characteristic tone and unique charm of instruments from Bohemian production result from traditional manufacturing methods. This model stands out for its clear intonation and responsive play. The Cerveny CTR 590 bass trumpet's traditional construction forms the basis for its easy response and impressive sonic projection. The bell measures 190 mm in diameter and the bore is 11.7 mm.

The bass trumpet is crafted from brass. The leadpipe, made of nickel silver, significantly extends the instrument's lifespan, since the leadpipe is most vulnerable to corrosion. The valve section — valve casings and valve outlets — is also made of nickel silver.

High-Quality Components For Comfortable Playing

The valve section is equipped with Minibal joints, guaranteeing perfect and reliable valve action. The piston valves, like the valve casings, are manufactured on modern CNC machining centers and are then hand-lapped (finely finished and smoothed).

The ergonomically positioned trigger lever on the 3rd valve slide lets you make comfortable pitch adjustments. The two water keys simplify handling of the instrument. Plus, the pre-mounted marching lyre holder ensures you're ready to play anywhere at once.

The bass trumpet is delivered, of course, in a sturdy case and includes a silver-plated mouthpiece.
