Bass Trumpet CTR 592-3 from Bohemian Craftsmanship!

The distinctive tone color and special charm of instruments from Bohemian production are achieved through traditional manufacturing methods. This model stands out with clear intonation and good response. It is suitable for brass bands, small ensembles (e.g. dance music or wind ensembles), as well as use in symphony and opera orchestras, and also for soloists who value the authentic Bohemian sound.

The traditional production of the Cerveny CTR 592-3 bass trumpet forms the basis for its easy response and impressive tonal projection. The bell has a diameter of 220 mm, and the bore measures 13.2 mm. Due to the larger bore, the CTR 592-3 has a softer timbre and a fuller sound compared to the CTR 590.

The bass trumpet is made of brass. Nickel silver, from which the trumpet’s leadpipe is made, significantly increases the instrument’s lifespan, as the leadpipe is the most susceptible to corrosion. The valve cluster – valve casings and valve ports – is also made of nickel silver.

High-Quality Components for Comfortable Playing

The valve cluster is equipped with minibal joints, ensuring perfect and reliable valve action. The piston valves, like the valve casings, are manufactured on modern CNC machining centers and then hand-lapped (finely processed and smoothed).

The trigger lever on the 3rd valve slide allows you comfortable tuning adjustment. The 2 water keys make handling the instrument easier. Additionally, the pre-installed marching lyre holder means you’re ready to play anywhere, anytime.

The bass trumpet is, of course, delivered in a sturdy case and includes a silver-plated mouthpiece.
