K&H Professional Bass Trombone - Built in the Tradition of German Master Craftsmanship!

The Kühnl & Hoyer .563 Bb/F/Gb/D bass trombone stands for uncompromising tonal richness, precise response and professional workmanship. Manufactured "Made in Germany" and built in the tradition of K&H award-winning instruments, this model impresses with a 14.3 mm bore, a 260 mm gold brass bell and two nickel-silver valves with progressive bore.

The open in-line design delivers an especially free playing feel and maximum sound projection in orchestra and big band settings as well as for solo performances.

Voluminous Tone With Gold Brass Bell

The body and bell are made from high-quality gold brass and provide a deep, supporting bass foundation with clearly defined projection. The generous 260 mm bell supports a full, powerful tonal character. Newly shaped bow sections optimize air flow and ensure a very precise response across all registers — from sonorous pedal tones to powerful tutti passages.

Professional Valve Technology in an Open Design

The bass trombone is tuned to Bb/F/Gb/D and equipped with two nickel-silver valves featuring a progressive bore. The open in-line design supports a direct tone attack and a free, resonant playing feel. The multi-position adjustable trigger on the valve levers allows individual adjustment to your hand size and playing technique.

Ergonomics and Durability

Curved hand braces on the body and slide ensure ergonomic handling and allow fatigue-free holding even during long rehearsals or concerts. The slide, made of nickel silver, offers high stability and excellent glide properties. The clear lacquer finish protects the surface for the long term and preserves the instrument's high-quality appearance.

Ready to Play

The package includes a 1 1/2 G mouthpiece so you can start playing right away. The combination of German manufacturing quality, thoughtful construction and powerful tonal architecture makes this bass trombone the first choice for demanding musicians.
