Optimized Version of the CTH 721-4RTS with Trigger & Bell Flange!

The characteristic tone color and unique charm of instruments from Bohemian production are achieved through traditional manufacturing methods. This model stands out with clear intonation and good response, making it ideal for brass bands and musicians who value an authentic Bohemian sound in the tenor register.

The silver-plated tenor horn from the Cerveny Deluxe Line is made of gold brass, which sounds softer and warmer than other materials. The nickel silver leadpipe significantly increases the instrument’s lifespan, as the leadpipe is the most corrosion-prone part. The nickel silver bell flange enhances the bell’s stability, and the valve casing is also made of nickel silver.

The bell has a diameter of 240 mm, and the bore measures 13.2 mm. But the instrument impresses not only technically. With its silver-plated finish and fine embellishments on the bell flange, bell, valve caps, and valve buttons, the Deluxe Line tenor horn is a real eye-catcher.

Optimized by Instrument Makers and Musicians

The tenor horns of the renewed series from the 2025 model year (marked "II" in the product title) were modernized and optimized by Cerveny in collaboration with renowned tenor horn players.

High-Quality Components for Comfortable Playing

The valve casing is equipped with minibal joints, ensuring perfect and reliable valve action. The piston valves, as well as the valve casings, are manufactured on modern CNC machining centers and then hand-lapped (finely processed and smoothed).

With the pre-installed lyre holder, you’re ready to play anywhere immediately, and the adjustable trigger on the main tuning slide makes pitch adjustment easy. The tenor horn is, of course, delivered in a sturdy case and includes a silver-plated mouthpiece.
