Double Horn from Bohemian Craftsmanship with Screw-On Bell!

The distinctive tone and special charm of instruments from Bohemian production are achieved through traditional manufacturing methods. This model stands out with clear intonation and good response, making it ideal for brass bands, chamber orchestras, and players who value an authentic Bohemian sound in the horn register.

The traditionally crafted bell of the Cerveny CHR 681D double horn provides the foundation for very easy response and impressive sound projection. The detachable bell has a diameter of 305 mm.

Nickel silver, used for the horn’s leadpipe, significantly extends the instrument’s lifespan, as the leadpipe is the most corrosion-prone part. The valve cluster – valve casings and valve outlets – is also made from nickel silver.

High-Quality Components

The valve cluster features minibal joints, ensuring perfect and reliable valve action. The rotary valves and valve casings are manufactured on modern CNC machining centers and then hand-lapped (finely processed and smoothed).

Aesthetic and Comfortable

The adjustable finger hook and the aesthetically pleasing, ergonomic design of the valve levers provide maximum playing comfort. The baked-on lacquer finish guarantees easy maintenance and lasting shine.

The horn is naturally delivered in a sturdy lightweight case and includes a silver-plated mouthpiece.
