Melton's Original Egerländer Signature Flugelhorn 124GT!
The instruments from Melton Meinl Weston continually set new standards in brass instrument making — and they already did so decades ago, when Ernst Mosch personally gave his blessing to crown the Melton 124 GT as the "Original Egerländer Musikanten" model.
The aim in developing and optimizing the "Original Egerländer Musikanten" model was a lighter response and improved intonation. The characteristic sound of a flugelhorn with piston valves was retained.
For seven generations the Meinl-Langhammer family has striven to gain the best experience in the manufacturing process, develop fine handcraft skills, and continually work on instrument development. They still see an excellent level of quality as a personal commitment.
