Brass Sound in Vibrant Colors!
Good news for everyone who likes to take their brass instrument out on the town: the Classic Cantabile MardiBrass series is here! Fear of nasty tones from temperature changes and worries about dents after lively impromptu sessions are finally a thing of the past. The indestructible instrument joins every bit of fun and, with its bright sound, guarantees top vibes at all feel-good events where the unique brassy voice is indispensable.
Ultra-Light
Children, music students and wind heroes, take note! This euphonium from the Classic Cantabile MardiBrass line is an attractive instrument to experiment with, invites you to try new things and will be happily grabbed for any occasion where the expensive brass model is better left in the gigbag. Above all, its very light weight makes the Classic Cantabile MardiBrass euphonium the ideal student instrument!
Features: First-Class!
Those who think robustness and precision contradict each other are mistaken. The combination of a tough plastic body with high-quality, corrosion-resistant aluminum valves and brass valve casings makes the Classic Cantabile MardiBrass a truly well-rounded package.
Perfect for On-the-Go
The MardiBrass instruments are so light they won't weigh you down during a move or a mountain hike. Their resilience also makes them an ideal travel companion. The ABS plastic euphonium doesn't mind being set down briefly on the beach while the band cools off in the water, and it easily survives long, merry cabin evenings.

Today I let my euphonium-playing colleagues try out the instrument. They liked the instrument and thought it was great for the price. I'm still practicing myself. But as the instrument responds well, I was able to play some simple pieces in today's rehearsal. I should also mention that a metal mouthpiece is VERY recommendable. Kirstein will be happy to advise you.

As I have played in a trombone choir for over 40 years and took my expensive brass horn with me in all weathers, I am now very pleased with this good alternative for outdoor events.
The only pity is the white mouthpiece on the black euphonium, I would have been happier with a black mouthpiece as shown in the description.

I'm really very enthusiastic about this lightweight!
Questions about product
Question by Johannes Terkatz on 13.11.2025
I would like to replace the supplied plastic mouthpiece with a brass one. Which mouthpieces fit?
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
The MardiBrass euphonium generally fits mouthpieces with an L-shaft (12.5mm). The following standard mouthpiece, for example, would be a good combination: https://www.kirstein.de/Mundstuecke-Blechblasinstrumente/Arnolds-Sons-Mundstueck-fuer-Posaune-6-1-2-AL-L.html
Question by Cornelia Metterhausen on 27.10.2025
Is there a way to attach a marching fork and a carrying strap?
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
These mounts are not available on the euphonium. You can optionally order the following items: 2x https://www.kirstein.de/Blasinstrumente-Tragegurte/Arnolds-Sons-Tuba-D-Ring-Schlaufe-f-Tragegurt.html?
https://www.kirstein.de/Marschgabeln/Riedl-Notenhalterkaestchen-mit-Scharnierring-18-mm.html
Question by Walter on 19.07.2024
Which mouthpiece comes with it? Is it also made of plastic?
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
A matching plastic mouthpiece is included in the scope of delivery.
