Klier's Top Mouthpiece for Trumpet!
JK Exclusive mouthpieces are distinguished by great tonal volume, pure tuning, easy response and precisely calculated resistance in the cup and backbore, which ensures the player reliable endurance.
The personal sound ideals and demands of a professional like Franz Tröster can only be met with the highest possible technical precision. That is why Josef Klier in Diespeck, Middle Franconia, uses computer-controlled CNC lathes to produce their JK mouthpieces. Only this manufacturing method, with its high positional accuracy, allows the necessary serial precision with tolerances in the µm range (thousandths of a millimeter).
Unique in the Mouthpiece Sector
The consistent embouchure and cup diameter across the respective series, as well as the exact and differentiated gradation, enable the musician to achieve any desired stylistic direction without having to change their embouchure. A mouthpiece series engineered with such precision and optimal workmanship is not found in any other offering.
Pro Trumpeter Franz Tröster's Conclusion
"In collaboration with Josef Klier, we succeeded in developing a mouthpiece that is perfectly tailored to my tonal needs. The result: less resistance, a light, direct response and a wonderfully balanced tone across the entire range...
Now my series is finally complete: alongside the Franz Tröster flugelhorn and piccolo mouthpieces, there is now the new trumpet mouthpiece. In terms of playing characteristics it strongly resembles my proven flugelhorn mouthpiece, which makes switching between flugelhorn and trumpet incredibly pleasant and straightforward."

About Franz Tröster
Franz Tröster, born in 1962, began playing trumpet at the age of 10, attended a music high school in Temeschburg and studied at the Music Academy Klausenburg (Romania).
He was principal trumpeter and a sought-after guest musician with numerous renowned orchestras. Highlights of his career include a trumpet & organ concert in Castelanza/Milan and a performance at Carnegie Hall in New York.
With the "Ensemble Tromba Festiva" Franz Tröster and his three fellow musicians pay homage to great masters of the Baroque—Vivaldi, Händel and Bach—as well as modern masters like John Miles, Freddie Mercury and Louis Armstrong.
Since 1990 Franz Tröster has been principal flugelhornist and trumpeter with "Ernst Mosch & his Original Egerländer Musikanten" and "Ernst Hutter und die Egerländer Musikanten - Das Original" and, from 2025, with "Alexander Wurz und die Egerländer Musikanten - Das Original".
