Josef Klier Signature Mouthpiece H. Kobler for Trombone!
JK Exclusive mouthpieces stand out with large tonal volume, pure intonation, easy response, and precisely calculated resistance in cup design and backbore, ensuring good endurance for the player.
The personal sound ideas and wishes of a professional musician like Harald Kobler can only be fulfilled with the utmost technical precision. That’s why Klier in Diespeck, Middle Franconia, uses computer-controlled CNC lathes to manufacture their JK mouthpieces. Only this production method allows the necessary series accuracy with tolerances in the micrometer range (thousandths of a millimeter) thanks to its high positioning precision.
Unique in the Mouthpiece Sector
The consistent embouchure and cup diameter of each series, as well as the exact and differentiated gradation, allow the musician to achieve any desired style without having to adjust their embouchure. A mouthpiece series with such precise and optimal craftsmanship cannot be found in any other mouthpiece offering.
The Conclusion of Professional Musician Harald Kobler
"In search of a mouthpiece manufacturer that combines quality, innovation, and humanity, I found Klier. Together, we developed a Harald Kobler Signature mouthpiece series for trombone, tenor horn, baritone, and valve trombone / bass trumpet. All mouthpieces have the rim contour 6-1, which greatly facilitates switching between different instruments or mouthpieces.
The trombone mouthpiece 6DL-1 H. Kobler gives me the opportunity to realize my musical ideas regarding phrasing and expression when playing the trombone.
The enlarged bore and slightly adapted cup diameter expand the tonal spectrum and offer a full and balanced sound throughout the entire register. The reinforced outer shape supports playing fortissimo to a high degree. The tone remains full and centered."
