Mouthpiece for Cornet from the JK USA-Line
When Josef Klier resumed mouthpiece production in 1948 in Birkenfeld, word quickly spread among the nearby US Army bands. Up to that point, mouthpieces had been produced mainly for rotary-valve instruments. The trumpeters and trombonists of the Army bands, however, preferred a different cup shape for their instruments. They entrusted Josef Klier with sample mouthpieces that had been made in Mount Vernon, New York. The faithful replicas of those models crafted by Roland Klier were eagerly adopted by the Army musicians. Since these mouthpieces originated in the USA, it was natural for Josef Klier to group the new models under the JK USA Line.

Very nice round and rich tone.
I have now used it with an adapter on the piccolo trumpet and am delighted.
Of course you have to practice well, the mouthpiece can't do magic.
Merry Christmas to all.
