Additional Weight for Individual Optimization of the Lechgold Futuba!
By attaching additional weights to the valve caps of the Lechgold Futuba, Andreas "Fu" Fuetsch's signature tuba, you can tailor the instrument to your needs.
The additional weights add mass for more "punch" and a larger sonic presence. Notes can also be centered better and lock in more easily. Combined with the eased response, runs or wide intervals, for example, become more comfortable to play.
Andreas Fuetsch himself plays with additional weights on the 1st and 4th valves. Heavy and light weights can be combined on the valve caps as desired.
Additional weights are available individually in a heavy (approx. 30 g) and a light (approx. 18 g) version.
