Additional Weight for Individual Optimization of the Lechgold Futuba!
By screwing additional weights onto the valve caps of the Lechgold Futuba, Andreas "Fu" Fuetsch's signature tuba, you can tailor the instrument to suit you.
The extra mass provides more "push" and greater sonic volume. Notes can also be centered better and lock in more easily. Combined with an easier response, runs and wide intervals, for example, become more comfortable to play.
Andreas Fuetsch himself uses additional weights on the 1st and 4th valves. Heavy and light weights can be freely combined on the valve caps.
Additional weights are available individually as heavy (approx. 30 g) and light (approx. 18 g) variants.
