Lechgold Alphorn Handpipe Deluxe F#

Different Tunings With Just One Alphorn!

As a long-standing maker of wind instruments, Lechgold also offers individual alphorn handpipes! Available in five variants and three tunings, there's a suitable handpipe for every instrument.

With one (or more) additional handpipe(s) you not only expand your own repertoire with many pieces. When playing with other wind players—at an alphorn gathering, for example—you'll stay flexible and always be right at the forefront.

Other Tunings With Optional Handpipes

By using a different handpipe you can quickly and easily change the tuning of your alphorn. This option lets you play a wider repertoire without having to carry a complete second instrument. That saves weight, space and money.

Gold-Anodized Connection Sleeves

Absolute airtightness is guaranteed by the 3 rubber sealing rings on the handpipe's connection sleeve. This highest-quality connection technique was taken from the Lechgold "Spitzenklasse" alphorn and is now used on all Lechgold alphorns and handpipes.

The gold-anodized connections are extremely abrasion-resistant and guarantee a perfect fit for years. Rubbing or mutual oxidation is impossible, which allows the precisely manufactured connection sleeves to seal optimally airtight.

Easy and Clean Response

Thanks to the new connection sleeves, every component of the Lechgold alphorns fits absolutely precisely, so that even when using optional handpipes a perfect response and intonation are ensured.

100% Made in Austria

Lechgold alphorns and handpipes are handcrafted from Austrian woods from the higher Alpine regions. It's important that the tree grew slowly, so the growth rings lie close together; this improves resonance. The wood is slowly dried over several years to avoid tensions and warping.
