Whether you're a beginner, a passionate enthusiast or a stage blues player – with the Classic Cantabile AHB-250 "Alabama Blues" harmonica 12-piece set you hold the blues for every situation and key in your hands! The scope of delivery includes harps in the keys C, Db, D, Eb, E, F, F#, G, Ab, A, Bb and H (B).
The materials used, chosen for their excellent acoustic properties, together with careful, professional production guarantee you years of enjoyment with these instruments. And last but not least, the easy handling makes these compact Richter harps faithful companions on every path.
Premium Components for the Classic Sound
To blast out gritty riffs, melancholic melodies or simply deliver a solid blues sound on stage or around the campfire, you need instruments built from selected components. With their high-quality brass reed plates and the 10 phosphor-bronze reeds, the "Alabama Blues" fully meets these requirements.
Effortless Cleaning, Careful Storage
Two stainless-steel screws hold the chrome-plated steel casing and the harmonica body together. For regular cleaning you can therefore easily take them apart and put them back together again.
The Classic Cantabile AHB-250 "Alabama Blues" 12-piece set is delivered in a precisely fitting, plain black plastic case. A soft, non-abrasive polishing cloth is of course included to care for your little treasures.
"Cross" Playing Made Easy
To play the "cross" style common among blues musicians, you should use a harmonica whose tuning is a fourth above the key of the piece being played. The table below shows which harp fits which key:
| Song Key | C Major | C# Major | D Major | Eb Major | E Major | F Major | F# Major | G Major | Ab Major | A Major | Bb Major | H Major |
| Harmonica Key | F Major | F# Major | G Major | Ab Major | A Major | Bb Major | H Major | C Major | C# Major | D Major | Eb Major | E Major |
About the Richter Harmonica
In the mid-1820s it was the Sudeten German worker and folk musician Joseph Richter who revolutionized harmonica technique in the Sudetenland. Back then this border region between Saxony and Bohemia was known across Europe as the epicenter of instrument — and thus harmonica — making.
Joseph Richter designed a harmonica that also allowed draw notes (unlike the common harmonicas of the time, which could only play blow notes). This removed the previously unavoidable pauses for taking a breath. Another stroke of genius was his decision to limit the instrument's tones to the notes of a single key (diatonic). That meant harmonica players could no longer play the "wrong" notes as long as they agreed on the same key with their fellow musicians. Richter's third innovation was a new note layout that proved itself quickly and has stood the test of time.

The shipment could be tracked; the instrument(s) are well made and sound as they should.
Although the bag and its zipper still have to prove their durability, with the bag, the cleaning cloth and
this assortment of harps, you don't have to worry about anything else and have at least a wide background range.
The choice of material (plastic) is reflected in both the weight and the price.
(Is it even recyclable in the end?)
So I can confidently recommend this/these instrument(s).
