With the two stereo inputs, you can easily analyze, compare, and overlay up to four different signals simultaneously. A variety of display modes bring the signals to life in color—a huge advantage over the old monochrome oscilloscopes known from classic sci-fi movies. Operation is simple and intuitive thanks to dedicated menu buttons, a push encoder, and the 2.8" color LCD display with 240 x 320 pixels.

The NTS-2 even offers a powerful Lissajous mode, a true gateway for creative ideas, enabling you to visualize impressive oscilloscope artworks.

FFT / Spectrum Analyzer

To dive even deeper into analyzing any signals, the NTS-2 also features a special FFT mode (Fast Fourier Transform) with a real-time spectrum analyzer. Such useful tools were often inaccessible to many synth fans in the past, as they required either outrageously expensive hardware or at least a nearby computer. Now you can simply carry them in your pocket!

Dual Waveform Generator

But the NTS-2 is much more than just an oscilloscope. The flexible waveform generator mode offers two oscillators each with its own output. Use these, for example, to test your synthesizer rig or for especially creative patching ideas! Each oscillator can generate a variety of waveforms: sine, square, triangle, sawtooth, pulse wave, and noise, with the actual shape and phase adjustable to suit many applications.

These sounds can be used both as audio signals and as control voltage sources. They can also be used as continuous signals or one-shot impulses. This way, they can serve as LFOs, envelopes, triggers, control voltage generators, and even sound sources. Thus, the NTS-2 instantly expands the possibilities of any synthesizer with patch options by adding extra sound parameters, making it an absolute dream tool for analog synthesizer lovers.

Connectivity and Intuitive Operation

Despite its compact size, the NTS-2 offers numerous ways to integrate into your studio environment. Besides its 4-channel inputs and two waveform outputs, it also features two stereo THRU/OUT outputs that allow easy and even permanent wiring with your system if desired. This lets you visually monitor all important signals without constantly plugging and unplugging cables. This practical feature lets you keep your signal flow intact even when using the NTS-2 to display generated signals—and even when the NTS-2 is switched off.

To ensure maximum flexibility, the NTS-2 can be powered either by batteries or via an optional USB-C power supply, adapting perfectly to your individual needs.
