Compact and Innovative
With a depth of just 232 mm it fits into any living room, bedroom or studio. Despite its compact size, it will certainly fill the room with sound — the revised speaker system delivers the excellent tone optimally and provides stronger localization and presence. The Smart Scaled Hammer action is designed to guarantee a piano-like playing feel despite the small size. Each of the 88 keys has its own weight sensation and timing, which enhances authenticity.
Bluetooth® Adapter
Make full use of the instrument thanks to the new Bluetooth® Audio & MIDI adapter: select sounds, change settings in seconds and play back songs from your phone or tablet.
Smart Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard
The Hammer Response simulation reproduces the weight of the key depending on its position and the speed with which it is played — calculated individually for each of the 88 keys. This reflects the physical differentiation across zones with different weightings.
Bluetooth®
Easily accompany your favorite tracks: through the speakers of your CASIO PX-S1100 or PX-S3100 you can play music stored on your smartphone. Experiment with different sound modes — for example the surround effect for spatial sound.
Keyboard Stand
The very sturdy double-braced keyboard stand provides secure support for all common stage pianos, master keyboards, portable keyboards and synthesizers up to a maximum of 30 kg. The practical quick-release lets you easily set it to 5 different heights. The robust rubber sleeves provide completely non-slip and scratch-resistant support, and the practical floor-compensating pads (4 on the feet and 2 on the top) ensure extra stability even on uneven surfaces.
Comfortable Stereo Headphones
The KH-238 delivers a full, balanced sound with rich bass and clear highs. It offers plenty of volume while still providing accurate and distinct imaging in the stereo field. The softly padded, wide headband is length-adjustable. The extension provides 12 steps per side for an optimal fit. For even more wearing comfort the ear cups are mounted on two-axis pivots. The thick, soft padding of the circumaural ear cups also provides good external noise isolation. The in-line volume control on the cable is always at hand and simplifies use with a PC or MP3 player. The 3.5 mm stereo plug offers excellent transmission characteristics and a 6.3 mm stereo adapter is also included in the delivery.
Piano Method
The beginner is introduced to the instrument in a playful, relaxed way and guided through the basics. Starting with familiar, simple melodies and progressing to two-handed playing of complete songs, the course also covers a lot of theory. Reading sheet music, rhythm, dynamics and much more are addressed alongside the exercises. The straightforward exercises guarantee quick learning progress.
