Compact and Innovative
With a depth of just 232 mm it fits into any living room, bedroom or studio space. Despite its compact size, it will certainly fill the room with sound — the redesigned speaker system delivers the excellent tone optimally and provides stronger localization and presence. The Smart Scaled Hammer action was designed so that, despite its small size, it guarantees a playing feel like an acoustic keyboard instrument. Each of the 88 keys has its own weighting and timing, which enhances authenticity.
Bluetooth® Adapter
Make full use of the instrument's capabilities thanks to the new Bluetooth® Audio & MIDI adapter: select sounds, change settings in an instant, and play back songs from your phone or tablet.
Smart Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard
The Hammer Response simulation reproduces the key weight depending on position and playing speed — calculated individually for each of the 88 keys. It models the physical differentiation across zones with different weightings.
Bluetooth®
Easily accompany your favorite tracks: you can play music stored on your smartphone through the speakers of your CASIO PX-S1100 or PX-S3100. Experiment with different sound modes — e.g., the Surround effect for a spatial sound experience.
Keyboard Stand
The very sturdy, double-braced keyboard stand provides secure support for all standard stage pianos, master keyboards, portable keyboards and synthesizers up to 30 kg. The convenient quick-release lets you easily set it to five different heights. The robust rubber collars provide a completely non-slip, scratch-resistant footing, and the practical floor-leveling pads (4 on the feet and 2 on the top) add stability even on uneven surfaces.
Comfortable Stereo Headphones
The KH-238 delivers a full, balanced sound with rich bass and clear highs. It offers plenty of volume while maintaining clean and precise stereo imaging. The softly padded, wide headband is length-adjustable. Each side extends over 12 steps for optimal fit. For extra wearing comfort, the earcups are pivot-mounted on two axes. The thick, soft padding of the over-ear cushions also provides good external noise isolation. The in-line volume control on the cable is always at hand and makes operation with a PC or MP3 player easier. The 3.5 mm stereo jack provides excellent transmission and an adapter to a 6.3 mm stereo jack is included in the delivery.
Piano Method
The instrument is presented to beginners in a playful, relaxed way. Starting with familiar, simple melodies and progressing to two-handed playing of complete songs, the course also covers essential theory. Reading notation, rhythm, dynamics and much more are tackled alongside the exercises. The straightforward exercises guarantee quick learning success.
