The built-in 2,200-watt Class-D amplifier delivers impressive headroom and responds dynamically to transients. The amplifier is securely mounted in the cabinet and disperses heat evenly via a robust heat exchanger.

Precise 18" Woofer With 4" Voice Coil

The specially developed RCF Precision Transducer with an 18" cone and 4" voice coil ensures maximum fidelity. The magnetic circuit is engineered to minimize distortion and keep the bass response linear - even at high levels. The result is precise, punchy, and deep-reaching bass that elevates any performance.

Bass Motion Control Technology

Using the Bass Motion Control algorithm, RCF replaces the traditional high-pass filter with intelligent control of woofer excursion. This keeps the bass stable even at extreme levels while preserving phase behavior. The result is an exceptionally clear, controlled, yet powerful low end.

Flexible Connections and Advanced Control

The connection panel features mono/stereo XLR/TRS combo inputs, an XLR stereo link, and XLR outputs with an integrated crossover. You can also adjust volume, polarity, and the low-pass frequency individually to integrate the subwoofer optimally into any system.

Rugged Tour Cabinet for Mobile Use

The birch cabinet is finished with a durable polyurea coating. This combination provides high stability, scratch resistance, and a long-lasting finish. With integrated handles, the SUB 18-AS is easy to transport and ideal for mobile use.

Speaker Pole

Pronomic speaker poles allow tops to be mounted directly on the subwoofer - at the correct height. Most subwoofers already feature a compatible socket. The poles screw in via an M20 thread. A locking pin, secured with a set screw, prevents accidental slipping. The robust construction ensures a long service life even in the toughest gig environments.
