Line6 HX Stomp XL - Multi-Effect Pedal for Guitar!

The HX Stomp XL amp and effects processor delivers HX modeling in a powerful pedal with eight capacitive footswitches. The same SHARC DSP chip as in the Helix allows up to eight blocks to run simultaneously, which can be accessed and controlled in various ways using the footswitches.

Authentic Tone

The SHARC audio engine in HX products precisely replicates the tonal characteristics and playing dynamics of classic and modern amps and effects.

HX Cabs and Impulse Responses

The Helix cab models offer bass response and definition equivalent to a 2048-sample impulse response (IR). Additionally, third-party impulse responses can be loaded. A selection of 16 microphone models with adjustable distances provides extra flexibility.

Component Modeling

Every part of an amp’s circuitry is measured during the modeling process and compared with the original to ensure realistic tone and an authentic playing experience.

Behavioral Modeling

HX modeling technology captures the unique behavior of analog effects by measuring their individual components, resulting in authentic recreations of famously hard-to-model effects like germanium fuzz and bucket-brigade analog delay pedals.

Interaction

HX processors feature a clear user interface that enables quick tone adjustment and easy interaction—all with a minimal learning curve and no complicated menu diving.

Capacitive Touch Footswitches

Simply touch a footswitch to instantly jump to any block and quickly adjust a parameter or assign controllers. Color-coded LED rings show footswitch assignments and status at a glance.

Snapshots

Snapshots let you create multiple variations within a single preset and switch between them seamlessly without audio dropouts that occur when switching presets.

I/O Level Shifting

A switchable line-level input lets keyboardists, DJs, and producers connect electronic instruments or use HX products as outboard processors in the studio.

Routing

HX processors easily integrate into pedalboards and studios thanks to flexible routing options. Internal routing includes parallel stereo signal paths, while inputs and outputs feature stereo-coupled effects loops.

Command Center

HX processors can serve as command centers for any rig. MIDI commands can be sent manually via footswitches (or an optional expression pedal), and up to six commands can be sent automatically when recalling presets or snapshots. Even QWERTZ hotkey commands can be sent via USB.

Analog Bypass

The switchable analog bypass routes signals at the input(s) directly to the output(s) without performing A/D/A conversion.

HX Edit

HX Edit features the same intuitive user interface as the HX processors. Effortlessly create complex signal chains, adjust settings and parameters with dedicated sliders, customize footswitch labels, and much more.
