At the heart of the system is a compact, intuitively operated digital receiver. Features like Bluetooth synchronization and control via the Smart Assist App save valuable time on set. The user-facing OLED display simplifies menu navigation, and intelligent notifications assist with troubleshooting if a problem arises. One or multiple receivers can be smartly integrated into the camera setup using the magnetic mounting plate. Various power supply options support long location shoots.

EW-DP is the first portable wireless system where receivers can be easily stacked magnetically with OLED displays facing the user. This makes setup both fast and straightforward, and even in low light or from awkward angles, all settings and notifications remain clearly visible. Various power supply options—batteries, rechargeable packs, or direct USB-C power—provide the necessary security for long shoots.
Support When You Need It Most
EW-DP is a wireless system that assists the user with troubleshooting. If setup or operation errors occur in the hectic pace of a shoot, the system sends intelligent notifications with suggested solutions. If the audio signal clips, the system recommends reducing the gain. Low battery triggers a warning. If a busy frequency is accidentally selected, the system prompts a frequency change. If transmitter and receiver are not connected, EW-DP asks to press the "Sync" button. And if the transmitter is accidentally muted, a notification appears with the option to remotely unmute. These intelligent notifications are especially helpful when working solo.
Everything Under Control
With the Sennheiser Smart Assist App on any iOS or Android device, EW-DP can be automatically set up, operated, and monitored via Bluetooth®. The automatic frequency management coordinates up to 16 systems—no wireless know-how required. Even during shooting, settings can be quickly and discreetly changed via remote access.
