The heart of the system is a compact, intuitively operated digital receiver. Features such as Bluetooth synchronization and control via the Smart Assist App save valuable time on set. The OLED display facing the user simplifies menu navigation, and intelligent notifications help with troubleshooting if a problem occurs. One or more receivers can be smartly integrated into the camera rig using the magnetic mounting plate. Various power options support long location shoots.
The ME 2 lavalier microphone with omnidirectional pickup delivers clear, highly intelligible speech quality. The ME 4 lavalier microphone with cardioid pattern is ideal for capturing speech in noisy environments.

EW-DP is the first portable wireless system whose receivers can be simply stacked magnetically and whose OLED displays face the user. That makes the setup both fast and straightforward, and even in poor lighting or at an awkward angle you have all settings and notifications clearly in view. Various power options – batteries, rechargeable packs or direct power via the USB-C port – provide the required security for long shoots.
Support When You Need It Most
EW-DP is a wireless system that helps the user troubleshoot. If configuration or operation errors occur in the haste of a shoot, the system sends intelligent notifications with suggested fixes. If the audio signal clips, the system suggests reducing the gain. A low battery triggers a warning. If a used frequency is accidentally selected, the system prompts a frequency change. If sender and receiver are not connected, EW-DP asks that you press the "Sync" button. And if the transmitter is accidentally muted, a notification appears with the option to unmute it remotely. The intelligent notifications are especially helpful when working alone.
Everything Under Control
With the Sennheiser Smart Assist App on any iOS or Android device, EW-DP can be automatically set up, controlled and monitored via Bluetooth®. The automatic frequency management coordinates up to 16 systems—no wireless know-how required. Even during a shoot, settings can be changed quickly and discreetly via remote access. A support hub with video tutorials and detailed instructions helps with getting started.
