The Omnitronic UHF-602 wireless microphone system is a very solid solution for the dedicated hobby musician: it comes with four wireless microphones, operates in frequency ranges that are largely license- and fee-free in Europe, and delivers good range and tone control (via a 7-band EQ) — ideal if you want to record vocals or host announcements in your rehearsal room or a small/medium studio setup.
Reception And Frequency Technology
The receiver uses true-diversity technology, meaning two reception paths run in parallel to minimize dropouts. Additionally, up to 24 transmitters can be operated simultaneously across the two bands — more than enough for many applications.
Sound And Control Solution
A notable feature: the receiver has a built-in 7-band equalizer, so you can actively shape the sound — handy if your rehearsal room has acoustic quirks or you’re recording different voices. Also: a TFT/multicolor display on the receiver, user-selectable colors for channel identification, and a lock function to prevent accidental changes.
Microphones & Equipment
The four included microphones feature a cardioid polar pattern — well suited for vocals or spoken announcements since they reduce ambient noise. Each microphone has a multicolor LCD display and a battery level indicator — so you can see the battery status at a glance.
