Genelec 8330A SAM - Active Studio Monitor with DSP Filters!
The 8330A studio monitor from the Genelec SAM series perfectly adapts to the monitoring environment. Especially in small, acoustically critical rooms, it creates significantly better monitoring conditions.
Automatic calibration and control are done via the GLM software. With up to 16 fully parametric and 4 shelving filters, it drastically reduces distorting effects of room modes. The sound image is linearized, and the high resolution and transparency guarantee relaxed, analytical listening.
In the sturdy die-cast aluminum enclosure, two Class-D amplifiers deliver 50 watts each for the woofer and midrange driver. Despite its compact size, the bass reflex port produces deep-reaching bass. Rounded enclosure edges improve localization and spatial imaging. And the DCW waveguide ensures linear dispersion with a wide listening area.
