Genelec 8330A SAM - Active Studio Monitor Pair With DSP Filters!
The 8330A studio monitor from the Genelec SAM series adapts perfectly to the listening environment. Especially in small, acoustically critical rooms it delivers significantly improved monitoring conditions.
Automatic calibration and control are handled via the GLM software. With up to 16 fully parametric and 4 shelving filters it drastically reduces colorations caused by room modes. The frequency response is linearized and the high resolution and transparency guarantee relaxed, analytical listening.
In the sturdy die-cast aluminum enclosure two Class-D amplifiers deliver 50 watts each for the woofer and midrange. Via the bass-reflex port the speaker produces deep-reaching bass despite its compact dimensions. The rounded cabinet edges improve imaging and spatial reproduction. And the DCW waveguide ensures linear dispersion with a wide listening area.
