Genelec 8010A - Active Studio Monitors in Compact Size!
The Genelec 8010, with its compact dimensions, is the ideal active monitor for computer workstations, broadcast and OB van use, and mobile recordings.
The robust die-cast aluminum enclosure is acoustically optimized. The rounded enclosure edges ensure a precise, balanced stereo image. The drivers are protected by grilles. Threaded holes and matching wall and ceiling mounts facilitate flexible installation.
The two Class-D amplifiers of the Genelec 8010 deliver clear and neutral sound even at high volumes. The optimized bass reflex tuning provides surprisingly good bass response for its small size.
Switchable filters allow the active monitor to be adapted to its placement. The frequency response is linearized. The IsoPod stand decouples the speaker from the surface and allows aiming toward the listening position.
There is an automatic power on/off function, which can be disabled if needed. For 2.1 systems, the Genelec 7040 subwoofer extends the frequency range down to 30 Hz.
