Genelec 7050C - Active Subwoofer for 2.1 to 5.1 Setups!
The Genelec 7050C subwoofer pairs perfectly with the 8010, 8020, and 8030 monitors. It offers analog inputs and outputs up to 5.1 surround and handles bass management. The integrated crossover ensures that only frequencies above 85 Hz are sent to the connected speakers.
This relieves the speakers in the bass range, allowing them to deliver higher resolution. The overall system also achieves a higher sound pressure level. Additionally, there is an LFE input for surround up to 120 Hz.
The patented LSE design (Laminar-Spiral-Enclosure) delivers powerful deep bass without airflow noise. The Class-D amplifier guarantees high power reserves without distortion. Crucial room acoustic adjustments are made via dip switches. Phase alignment can also be set this way.
The automatic standby function saves energy efficiently when no signal is detected for an extended period. The 7050C also impresses with compact dimensions and a universal switching power supply.
