Active 7" Studio Monitor With U-ART Tweeter!

The T7V is a nearfield studio monitor designed as a vertically oriented 2-way system.

The T7V features a 7" woofer that delivers bass down to 39 Hz, while the U-ART tweeter diaphragm provides an uncolored and extended high-frequency range up to 25 kHz. The U-ART tweeter is equipped with a precision waveguide that offers the same excellent dispersion characteristics as the High-Frequency Propagation (HPS) waveguide used in ADAM Audio's S-Series studio monitors. The very even high-frequency dispersion created by the waveguide delivers an incredibly wide sweet spot, so you don't have to sit rigidly in one spot while you work.

The metal rear panel of the T7V houses the bass-reflex port as well as numerous controls and analog connectors. The U-ART tweeter is driven by a 20 W amplifier, while a 50 W amplifier powers the woofer. This power package in a slim enclosure produces an impressive maximum sound pressure level of 110 dB SPL per pair.

Thanks to its wide frequency response, large dynamic range, excellent transient reproduction, wide sweet spot and small footprint, the T7V is ideal for use in small control rooms for music production, video post-production and broadcast — an attractive option for the tight budgets many facilities have to work with.

Newly Developed U-ART Tweeter With HPS Waveguide

Many of the technical innovations developed for the S-Series, ADAM Audio's premium line, are now applied in the T-Series. The design of the new 1.9" U-ART tweeter in the T-Series is based on the X-ART and S-ART tweeters from the AX and S series. The U-ART tweeter is fitted with a precision waveguide that shows the same excellent dispersion characteristics as the HPS Waveguide used in ADAM Audio's S-Series studio monitors.

New Class-D Amplifiers And DSP-Based Room Tuning

The T7V is equipped with new Class-D amplifiers (20 W for the tweeter and 50 W for the woofer), universal power supplies and integrated DSP crossovers derived from the technological advances in the S-Series design and production. On the rear of the T7V you’ll find an XLR connector and a phono jack with balanced +4 dBu or unbalanced -10 dBV input. A dedicated 2-way switch selects which connector receives the input signal. The T7V can operate automatically with mains voltages from 100 to 240 V at 50 to 60 Hz, so they can be connected to both professional and “prosumer” recording systems as well as to balanced and unbalanced I/O boxes for DAWs.

Two 3-way switches boost or cut the low and high frequencies by ±2 dB and also offer a “flat” setting. With these EQ switches you can tune the T5V and T7V frequency response to optimize monitor performance when placed on a shelf, desk or console or at different distances from walls.

Subwoofer

Equipped with a downward-firing 10" woofer and a substantial 130 Watt Class-D amplifier, the T10S offers a frequency response from 28 Hz to 120 Hz and an impressive maximum SPL of 104 dB. An adjustable low-pass filter allows you to match the bass to the monitors to get the optimum performance from the complete system. Additional controls on the rear of the subwoofer enable fine-tuning to the room acoustics and satellite speakers.

XLR Cables

Stage Pro-Line cables are made using only oxygen-free copper. This ensures durable, consistent quality and protection against corrosion. The connectors are hand-soldered and feature a clamping strain relief so the solder joints are free from mechanical stress. A high-density copper braid shields the audio signal effectively from impact noise and electromagnetic interference from power supplies and mains cables, ensuring low conductor capacitance and crystal-clear audio transmission.

Speaker Stands For Studio Monitors

The two Pronomic speaker stands are continuously adjustable in height from 19 cm to 27.5 cm. To prevent accidental slipping of the top plate, the stands feature a safety cotter pin that locks the stand in four different heights. The rubber feet provide optimal stability and decoupling from the floor. The speaker shelves are lined with two foam rubber strips to protect the speakers from scratches and improve isolation from the stand. The dimensions of the speaker plates are 22.5 cm x 22.5 cm.
