Active 5" Studio Monitor With U-ART Tweeter!

The T5V is an extremely budget-friendly 2-way nearfield monitor optimized for use in smaller control rooms.

The T5V features a 5" woofer that extends bass down to 45 Hz. The new U-ART delivers a pure, extended high-frequency response up to 25 kHz and represents a breakthrough solution for high-resolution recordings and mixes on a tight budget. The U-ART tweeter is fitted with a precision waveguide that shares the same excellent dispersion characteristics as the High-Frequency Propagation Waveguide (HPS) used in the S-Series studio monitors. The waveguide's very even high-frequency reproduction creates an incredibly wide sweet spot, so you don't have to remain locked into a rigid listening position while you work.

A new cabinet with a small footprint, chamfered edges and a rear bass-reflex port allows placement anywhere in the room, no matter how small. The T5V also features DSP-controlled crossovers and equalizers as well as analog connections (XLR/phono). Driven by a 50 W Class-D amplifier for the woofer and a 20 W Class-D amplifier for the U-ART tweeter, the T5V reaches impressive peak levels of 106 dB SPL per pair.

Two 3-way switches boost or cut the low and high frequencies by ±2 dB and also offer a "flat" setting. With these EQ switches you can tailor the T5V's frequency response so you can precisely tune the monitors' performance when placing them on a shelf, a desk or a console or at different distances from walls.

New U-ART Tweeter With HPS Waveguide

Many of the technical innovations developed for the S-Series, ADAM Audio's premium range, are now applied in the T-Series. The design of the new 1.9" U-ART tweeter in the T-Series is based on the X-ART and S-ART tweeters from the AX- and S-Series. The U-ART tweeter is equipped with a precision waveguide that exhibits the same excellent dispersion characteristics as the HPS waveguide (High Frequency Propagation System) used in ADAM Audio's S-Series studio monitors.

New Class-D Amplifiers and DSP-Controlled Room Tuning

The T5V is equipped with new Class-D amplifiers (20 W for the tweeter and 50 W for the woofer), universal power supplies and integrated DSP crossovers derived from the technological advances in the S-Series design and production. On the back of the T5V you'll find an XLR connector and a phono input with balanced +4 dBu or unbalanced -10 dBV sensitivity. A two-way switch selects which jack receives the input signal. The T5V can automatically operate with mains voltages from 100 to 240 V at 50 to 60 Hz, so they can be connected to both professional and prosumer recording systems, as well as balanced and unbalanced I/O boxes for DAWs.

And if you need even more bottom end: the T5V is compatible with the ADAM Sub7 and Sub8 subwoofers!

With its excellent acoustic properties, compact size and outstanding price/performance ratio, this studio monitor is an excellent choice for small control rooms used in music production, video post-production and broadcast.

Subwoofer

Equipped with a downward-firing 10" woofer and a powerful 130-watt Class-D amplifier, the T10S offers a frequency range of 28 Hz to 120 Hz and an impressive maximum SPL of 104 dB. An adjustable low-pass filter lets you match the bass to the monitors to get the best out of the overall system. Additional controls on the back of the subwoofer allow tailoring to room acoustics and the satellite speakers.

XLR Cables

For the Stage Pro-Line cables only oxygen-free copper is used. This ensures long-lasting, consistent quality and protects against corrosion. The connectors are hand-soldered and feature a clamping strain relief so the solder joints are free from mechanical stress. A high-density copper shield effectively protects the audio signal from structure-borne noise and electromagnetic interference, such as that generated by power supplies and power cables. This delivers low conductor capacitance and crystal-clear audio transmission.

Speaker Stands for Studio Monitors

The two Pronomic speaker stands adjust smoothly between 19 cm and 27.5 cm in height. To prevent the top from slipping, the stands feature a safety pin that locks the stand in four different heights. The rubber feet provide optimal stability and decoupling from the floor. The speaker platforms are lined with two foam rubber strips to protect the speakers from scratches and improve isolation from the stand. The dimensions of the speaker plates are 22.5 cm x 22.5 cm.
