On eight channels the nanoKONTROL2 puts all the controllers you need to fully control your music software into a chassis perfectly sized to sit in front of your laptop. A transport section is included too, with controls chosen to ensure simple, intuitive DAW control. The nanoKONTROL2 works with most music programs, including all common DAWs, so complicated connection setups are a thing of the past.

Complete Control Of Your DAW And Software Synthesizers

Each of the eight channels includes a rotary knob, a fader and three buttons, preassigned to Pan, Volume and to Solo, Mute and Record. This setup is ideal for recording automation across multiple tracks.

The added marker button helps mark important song sections and enables efficient workflow. For use with software synthesizers, parameters can be mapped to other desired controller numbers. For example, the nanoKONTROL2's faders can control a synth's ADSR envelope while the knobs control filter cutoff, resonance or other parameters.

A Tidy Setup Thanks To USB Connection

Simply connect your computer to the nanoKONTROL2 via USB and you have a mobile music studio. The nanoKONTROL2 is powered over the USB cable, which means one less cable and a neater workspace.

Control Surface Plug-in For The nanoKONTROL

Control Surface plug-in for the nanoKONTROL2 (pairs nanoKONTROL2 with Logic and GarageBand). This plug-in was created in response to requests from many nanoKONTROL2 users. It can be downloaded for free and gives direct access via the nanoKONTROL2 to Volume/Pan/Mute/Solo per channel, EQ and effect sends, and all transport functions of Logic and GarageBand.

Korg Kontrol Editor Software

The nanoKONTROL2 works with the "Korg Kontrol Editor" software — available as a free download from the Korg website. After installation you can make detailed edits on your computer. For example, you can set minimum and maximum values for each control command.
