The UltraLite mk5 features the acclaimed ESS Sabre32 DAC technology with the ES9026PRO DAC, delivering a measured dynamic range of 125 dB and a THD + N of -114 dB. The fast drivers ensure outstanding performance with extremely low latency.

Ultra-Low Latency

Optimized drivers for Mac and PC provide performance with ultra-low latency. When paired with a high-performance DAW like Digital Performer, the UltraLite mk5 offers an astonishing round-trip latency (RTL) of 2.4 ms over USB (at 96 kHz with a host buffer of 32 samples).

The UltraLite mk5 comes in a compact steel chassis you can take anywhere. It’s equally suited for studio and stage use, with or without a computer. Connect all your studio gear and produce cutting-edge recordings with your computer, or bring it to your next gig to mix live without a computer.

40 Simultaneous Audio Channels

As an interface or mixer, the UltraLite mk5 offers 18 inputs and 22 outputs for a total of 40 independent I/O channels simultaneously. It features 2 mic/line/instrument inputs, 6 line inputs, 10 line outputs, headphone output, and optical 8-channel I/O. The optical ports also support stereo TOSLink (optical S/PDIF) as an alternative.

iOS Compatibility

The UltraLite mk5 is USB Class Compliant and offers plug-and-play compatibility with iPad and other Apple iOS devices. Record directly on your iPad on the go or play backing tracks during a performance, perfectly mixed with your live inputs via the UltraLite mk5’s built-in mixer. Control everything via the CueMix 5 app on your iPad.

Loopback

The UltraLite mk5 provides loopback channels for your host computer or iOS device, allowing you to conveniently route the computer output together with a mix of live inputs from the UltraLite mk5 back to the computer. You can then record this or stream live online. Streaming and podcasting have never been easier—or sounded better!
