The new lightweight stereo recorder for cameras that records in 32-bit float to ensure perfectly balanced sound on every take. The M3 features a line output to send audio directly to the camera input and offers selectable Mono/90°/120° pickup patterns.

The M3 MicTrak gives filmmakers the ability to enhance their content with uncolored sound quality. The stereo microphone designed for camera mounting with an integrated recorder captures every sonic nuance using 32-bit float technology.

The M3 records distortion-free audio at all times. Thanks to 32-bit float recording, no level adjustment is necessary. Whether it’s dialogue, sound effects, or outdoor ambience—you always get a perfect recording.

Mono/Stereo Modes

Easily switch between mono and stereo modes. The mono mode is ideal for dialogue recording. 90° provides accurate, transparent stereo capture. 120° offers a wide stereo pickup, especially recommended for ambience or sound effects.

More Flexibility in Post-Production

The M3 always saves a backup file in Mid-Side RAW format, giving you the flexibility to adjust the stereo width of the recording during post-production. Record on SDXC cards with capacities up to 1 TB.

Backup for Your Recordings

Use the 3.5 mm stereo output to connect the M3 to your camera and record a backup there. This is especially helpful for syncing audio with video.

Efficiency in Post-Production

With the M3 Edit and Play software, you can adjust the stereo width of your recordings and normalize your files to prepare them for syncing and editing.

Comfortable Stereo Headphones

The KH-238 delivers full, balanced sound with rich bass and clear highs. It offers plenty of volume while maintaining clean and precise localization in the stereo field. Naturally, the softly padded, wide headband is length-adjustable. The extension offers 12 steps per side for optimal fit. For even more comfort, the ear cups are mounted on two axes for rotation. The thick, soft padding of the circumaural ear cups also provides good external noise isolation. The integrated volume control on the cable is always at hand, simplifying use with a PC or mp3 player. The 3.5 mm stereo jack delivers excellent transmission quality, and a 6.3 mm stereo adapter is also included.
