The new lightweight stereo recorder for your camera records in 32-bit float to ensure perfectly balanced sound on every take. The M3 features a line output to send audio directly to the camera input and offers selectable Mono/90°/120° pickup patterns.

The M3 MicTrak gives filmmakers the ability to enhance their content with uncolored sound quality. This stereo microphone with integrated recorder, designed for camera mounting, captures every sonic nuance with 32-bit float technology.

The M3 records distortion-free audio at all times. Thanks to 32-bit float recording, no level setting is needed. Whether it’s dialogue, sound effects, or ambient outdoor atmosphere—you always get a flawless recording.

Mono/Stereo Modes

Easily switch between mono and stereo modes. Mono mode is ideal for dialogue recording. 90° provides accurate, transparent stereo capture. 120° offers a wide stereo pickup, especially recommended for atmosphere or sound effects.

More Flexibility in Postproduction

The M3 always saves a backup file in Mid-Side RAW format, giving you the flexibility to adjust the stereo width of your recording during postproduction. Record on SDXC cards with capacities up to 1 TB.

Backup for Your Recordings

Use the 3.5 mm stereo output to connect the M3 to your camera and record a backup there. This is especially helpful for syncing audio with video.

Efficiency in Postproduction

With the M3 Edit and Play software, you can adjust the stereo width of your recordings and normalize your files to prepare them for syncing and editing.
