The M2 records distortion-free audio at all times. Thanks to 32-bit float recording, no level adjustment is needed. Whether you’re capturing softly spoken dialogue or thunderous drums, you’ll always get the sound you want.

Extremely Low Handling Noise
Combined with the specially developed glossy finish, the unique elastically mounted X/Y stereo microphones of the M2 drastically minimize handling noise.
Record in either mono or stereo mode. Stereo is recommended for musical performances, while mono is the perfect choice for interviews and dialogue recordings.
Normalize Function
The M2 offers a normalize function that lets you optimize your recording levels by raising or lowering the volume. This saves time and makes post-production more efficient.

Thanks to the real-time waveform display on the M2’s LCD screen, you can keep an eye on your recordings at all times.

32-Bit Float USB Microphone
Connect the M2 via USB to record and stream with a PC, Mac, or on iOS or Android.
For stationary recordings, mount the Zoom M2 on a microphone stand using the included microphone holder.
