I was less satisfied with the purchase process through Kirstein. I was very excited after the decision to buy was made (300 euros after all) and I was on vacation the following week. The delivery time was stated as 1-3 days, order Tuesday evening, so the device should have arrived on Friday or Saturday in any case. As the model was currently being offered practically everywhere at the same reduced price, I decided not to choose Amazon (guaranteed delivery the following day) but to support smaller dealers specializing in music, i.e. Kirstein, and accept the promised delivery time of up to 1-3 working days.
By Saturday, however, not even the shipment from Kirstein was in my email, let alone the device delivered. On Monday there was still no shipping notification in the email, so I wrote an email to customer service with a friendly request for clarification as to where it was and when delivery could be expected. This was never answered by Kirstein. Exactly one week and one day after the order was placed, the delivery was made. I noticed on the parcel that Kirstein had selected priority delivery. From this I conclude that Kirstein did not have the product in stock at the time of my order (as claimed when I placed the order), but had first procured it through a third party and then had it delivered to me via Priority.
Neither my friendly email to customer service was answered, nor was a customer feedback requested by Kirstein, which I sent to Kirstein after receiving the goods and stating my email contact... Unfortunately, I will probably turn to other suppliers the next time I need something.
