Zoom LiveTrak L-20 - More Board, More Music!

The LiveTrak L-12 already set an important milestone for musicians with its powerful, incredibly easy-to-use features. The new L-20 offers an even broader feature set and hardware upgrades aimed at creators with larger and bolder setups and arrangements.

The L-20 offers 20 discrete audio channels with 16 mono mic/line inputs and two stereo inputs, allowing recording of 22 tracks (20 channels plus one stereo mix) of pristine audio at resolutions up to 24 bit/96 kHz onto the internal SD card and/or simultaneously via USB to a connected PC/MAC. With -128 dBu EIN at +60 dB maximum input gain, the L-20 is equipped with our quietest and most advanced preamps.

Additionally, the L-20 provides six independent monitor outputs for musicians, and each output—which can switch between a powerful headphone output and a balanced line-out—can have its own custom mix. With two built-in effects units, the L-20 now offers two individual EFX sends per channel. The L-20 also features wireless mixing control via a free iOS app that lets you manage most onboard functions.

Beautiful New Interface

Although the LiveTrak L-20 is designed as a standalone recording and mixing console, it can also be used as a 22-in / 4-out USB audio interface. In audio interface mode, you can route inputs for any DAW or streaming software, even while recording to an SD card. Additionally, you can route audio from your computer into the L-20 to mix with your live performance. Class-compliant mode, enabling connection with iOS devices, is also supported.

Wireless Mixing

The LiveTrak L-20 offers wireless control via a free iOS app with most onboard functions, including fader levels and modes, scenes, EQ, EFX sends, returns, parameters, and more. Manage your effect library and scene library directly from your device. Control everything in a large monitor-out view with a mini transport or a mini monitor-out view with extended transport controls.

The KH-238 delivers a full, balanced sound with rich bass and clear highs. It offers plenty of volume while maintaining clean and precise stereo imaging.

Comfort Is Key

Of course, the softly padded, wide headband is length-adjustable. The extension offers 12 steps per side for optimal fit. For even more comfort, the ear cups are mounted on two-axis swivels. The thick, soft padding of the circumaural ear cups also provides good external noise isolation.

Cleverly Designed

The volume control integrated into the cable is always at hand, simplifying use with a PC or mp3 player. The 3.5 mm stereo jack plug delivers excellent transmission characteristics, and an adapter to 6.3 mm jack (stereo) is also included.
