Pronomic PH12 passive speaker 160/300 Watt pair

I just tried them out last night at an outdoor gig in a backyard with my blues band. I only used them to amplify two voices, the instruments and drums were live. The speakers, powered by a 200 watt power amp, performed quite well. Of course, they are not suitable for outdoor performances, but they are better suited for not very large halls. I am satisfied though.

I use these speakers exclusively for sound reinforcement applications, e.g. equestrian events. cheap, quality is okay and performance is sufficient I use 8 of these speakers for about 2000 people as speech reinforcement including background music, for a riding arena as large as a football field,
Absolutely sufficient.
Sound absolutely in order and the language is also far away top understandable
Of course, for party levels not particularly useful for the price but for large sound reinforcement with high numbers really an insider tip

I tested the speakers as monitors during an event in front of about 500 people. Since I was pressed for time, I didn't get to correct any fine points. My conclusion is:
1. volume sovereign (had of course used proper power amp,RMS 180 W at 4 0hm per channel would be far too little and make the difference between top and flop) To note is that the speakers sound only from a certain distance, so 2.5 m it should already be. They are not near field monitors.
At home I used them with a weaker power amp, relatively quiet. It is absolutely not meant for that and then only brings a lot of bass and mids.
2. the perceptible frequency response was sufficient for my purposes, half-playbacks, electric guitar, vocals for rock blues to country. I can't imagine better sound in the price and weight range. (I do have a column system available as well. But that has its frequency hole in the range where the electric guitar cavorts. A guitar amp is also not an option for me, because I have to control the whole thing as a sum).
3. with about 8.5 kg the speakers can be described as light. The joints are happy about that.
4) The workmanship is very decent.
5 The price is reasonable, if you know how to make something out of what is offered.
6. as a PA boxes I will not use them, because with me for 15 "active boxes of another manufacturer are in use.

Are cheap - sound the same. Have sent them back.
