The dBTechnologies ES503 is a compact active speaker system that can be used very flexibly thanks to its sophisticated design. Unique in this class is the extensive input section, which offers easy operation via a high-resolution OLED display, an integrated 3-channel mixer, plus a Bluetooth® receiver for audio streaming.

dBTechnologies ES503 represents the most advanced type of extremely compact sound reinforcement systems for a wide range of applications. Whether speech, background music, DJ and entertainer setups, fitness and sports, or smaller band applications, the ES503 offers maximum flexibility and scalability.

Bluetooth® - Integrated

For pure playback applications, operation without any additional accessories is possible with a Bluetooth®-enabled smartphone or MP3 player, thanks to the high-quality integrated Bluetooth® receiver in the ES503.

Digital Mixer - Integrated

For additional sources (keyboard, vocals, instrument), 3 more mic/line inputs are available, including a digital mixing section controlled via the high-quality, easy-to-read OLED display and a rotary push encoder. For applications with two ES503 units or an optional stage monitor, an XLR output is available that can output the mix signal or an aux signal.

OLED Display - Everything in View

The integrated OLED display on the subwoofer selects the acoustic preset for stereo, mono, and dual-mono configurations, provided by the integrated 24-bit/48kHz DSP. For high operational reliability, even at the power limit, the ES503 is equipped with active peak & RMS limiters as well as a thermal protection circuit.

Digipro Class-D Amplifiers of the Latest Generation

The ES503 features the latest generation of proprietary Digipro digital amplifiers, delivering a total power of 1000W/PRG, divided into three channels driving the 12" woofer and the two 4x3" tops either in stereo or mono.

Like all dBTechnologies Digipro amplifiers, the ES503 operates without an external fan. This ensures longevity and reliability, as both the fan and amplifier are protected from dust and dirt, which would otherwise reduce cooling and potentially cause overheating.

12" Subwoofer - Lightweight and Powerful

The subwoofer is made from 15mm multiplex plywood and designed in a bass-reflex enclosure, equipped with a 12" woofer. Despite the integrated amplifier, it weighs only 16.4 kg and delivers powerful, deep bass down to 37Hz (+-10dB) despite its extremely compact dimensions.

4x 3" Top with Neodymium Magnets - High Resolution and Only 1.9 kg Light

The tops are equipped with four 3" neodymium speakers each, featuring elaborate front-mounted "phase plugs" and mechanically offset placement. Both serve to optimize the mechanical acoustics in the mid-high frequency range for high-quality sound reproduction and practical dispersion behavior. Thanks to sophisticated plastic housings, the tops weigh only 1.9 kg each. Satellite connection is via Speakon connectors, and they include mounts for 25mm speaker stands. The ES503 is delivered with accessories for mono configuration, including a split 25mm pole and a 2m speaker cable. Optional stand and cable sets are available for stereo use.

Stereo System & Mono Stack with Increased Range

The ES503 allows separate use of Top-A and Top-B as a stereo system, as well as mechanical and electrical connection of both tops via a click system. Then the two tops function as one unit, offering higher maximum level and increased range by coupling a total of eight 3" neodymium speakers.
