The dBTechnologies ES1203 is a compact active speaker system that can be used very flexibly thanks to its sophisticated design. Unique in this class is the extensive input section which, thanks to the high-resolution OLED display, offers easy operation, an integrated 3-channel mixer plus a Bluetooth® receiver for audio streaming.

dBTechnologies ES1203 represents the most modern type of compact sound reinforcement systems for a wide range of applications. Whether DJ and entertainer setups, fitness and sports, or band applications, the ES1203 offers maximum flexibility and scalability.

Bluetooth® - Integrated

For pure playback applications, operation without any additional accessories is even possible with a Bluetooth®-enabled smartphone or MP3 player, thanks to the integrated high-quality Bluetooth® receiver in the ES1203.

Digital Mixer - Integrated

For additional sources (keyboard, vocals, instrument), 3 more mic/line inputs are available including a digital mixing section, which can be controlled via the high-quality and easy-to-read OLED display and a rotary push encoder. For applications with two ES1203 units or for an optional stage monitor, an XLR output is available that can output the mix signal or an aux signal. All input channels can be leveled separately on this output.

OLED Display - Everything in View

The integrated OLED display on the subwoofer allows selection of the acoustic preset for stereo, mono, and dual-mono configurations, provided by the integrated 24-bit/48kHz DSP. For high operational reliability, even at the power limit, the ES1203 is equipped with active peak & RMS limiters as well as a thermal protection circuit.

Digipro Class-D Amplifiers of the Latest Generation

The ES1203 is equipped with the latest generation of the proprietary Digipro digital amplifiers and offers a total power of 2400W/PRG, divided into three channels driving the 12" woofers as well as the two 8x4" tops optionally in stereo or mono.

As with all dBTechnologies Digipro amplifiers, the ES1203 operates without an external fan. This ensures durability and operational reliability since both fan and amplifier are protected from dust and dirt, which would otherwise reduce cooling and potentially cause overheating.

12" Subwoofer - Lightweight and Powerful

The subwoofer is made of 15mm multiplex wood and designed in bass-reflex style, equipped with two 12" woofers. Despite the integrated amplifier, it weighs only 29.3 kg and delivers powerful, deep bass down to 35Hz (-10dB).

4x 4" Top with Neodymium Magnets - High Resolution and Only 3.3 kg Light

The tops each feature four 4" neodymium speakers, equipped with elaborate front-mounted so-called "phase plugs" and mechanically offset arrangement. Both serve acoustic optimization in the mid-high frequency range for high-quality sound reproduction and practical radiation behavior. Thanks to elaborate plastic housings, the tops weigh only 3.3 kg each. The satellite connection is via Speakon connectors and they are equipped with mounts for 36mm speaker stands. The ES1203 is delivered including accessories for mono configuration with a split 36mm pole and a 2m speaker cable. Optional stand and cable sets are available for stereo use.

Stereo System & Mono Stack with Increased Range

The ES1203 allows separate use of Top A and Top B as a stereo system, as well as mechanical and electrical connection of the two tops via a click system. Then the two tops function as one unit and offer not only higher maximum level but also increased range through coupling of all eight 4" neodymium speakers.
