The active 18-inch subwoofer was completely redesigned to leverage JBL’s latest acoustic innovations. A high-performance driver powered by an ultra-efficient 2,000 watt Class-D amplifier delivers clear, defined bass with deep extension at maximum volume.
Convenient Control via Color Display or App
The extensive DSP, operated via an integrated color display or the JBL Pro Connect app, features a parametric 6-band EQ for system equalization and detailed tone shaping, plus a low-pass filter and 20 ms delay.
The JBL Pro Connect app offers full hardware and DSP control for up to ten speakers. PRX900 models can be integrated into projects with other JBL speakers like JBL EON ONE MK2, PRX ONE, and EON700, with exclusive features such as snapshots and grouping.
Robust Construction - Built for Touring
The system is designed for tough on-the-road use. The composite enclosure features computer-optimized internal bracing, increasing cabinet stiffness and improving acoustic properties and durability.
Distance Pole
With Pronomic distance poles, tops can be mounted directly on subwoofers at the correct height. Almost all subwoofers already have a compatible mount. The poles screw on with an M20 thread. A locking pin secured with a set screw prevents accidental slipping. The robust design guarantees long life even under the toughest stage conditions.
