DHR15

The DHR15 is a 2-way active speaker with bi-amping, equipped with a 15-inch woofer and a 1.4-inch HF driver, making it perfect for use as a main speaker. The DHR15 combines a 1000-watt amplifier and a high-performance DSP with the same plywood construction found in Yamaha’s high-end DZR series, delivering top-tier sound quality and durability.

Ultra-Precise DSP Processing for High-Definition Sound

All full-range models feature Yamaha’s proprietary FIR-X tuning, which uses linear-phase FIR filters for the crossover. FIR-X tuning simultaneously optimizes frequency and phase response and adjusts the time alignment between the HF and LF drivers. This creates a very smooth frequency response around the crossover point, resulting in much better clarity and imaging than conventional crossovers can achieve.

All signals are precisely processed by a high-performance processor to achieve high-resolution sound quality. All full-range models use highly accurate discrete 24-bit A/D and D/A converters with outstanding signal-to-noise ratio and dynamic range.

Easy-to-Use 2-Channel Mixer Onboard

The DHR series speakers feature two input channels. CH1 has a combo jack that accepts both XLR and TRS phone input signals at mic or line level. CH2 offers two input options: a combo jack accepting XLR or phone plugs, and a pair of RCA jacks for input from CD players or other stereo line-level sources.

The built-in mixer lets you select either CH1+2 MIX to blend signals from CH1 and CH2, or CH1 THRU to pass only the CH1 signal through.

Depending on the venue, your mix can be affected by low ceilings or other room characteristics that prevent a clear, even mix and significantly impact the audience’s listening experience. The DHR15 speaker flange offers two positions—0° or -7°—to direct acoustic energy away from reflective surfaces and toward your audience, where it belongs.

Sturdy Steel Speaker Stand

The practical stand ensures stable support for your speakers with its robust tripod design, whether on stage, in the rehearsal room, or in clubs. Various adjustment options guarantee maximum flexibility in positioning, and an additional metal pin secured with a nylon strap on the stand provides extra safety against accidental speaker falls.
